چکیده
Abstract Space radiation particles will cause a variety of effects on orbiting satellites, such as single event effects, total ionizing dose, displacement damage, etc. In response to these space BeiDou Navigation satellites M15/M16 operating in medium earth orbit (MEO) developed the first integrated monitor for high-energy proton and particle based detection technology. This payload realizes joint observation environment, linear energy transfer spectrum, dose MEO. According data, research characteristics laws can be carried out, problem spacecraft reliability verification solved from causal chain. this article, we have introduced detector (energy range 3–300 MeV), including technical indicators, working principles, instrument design, ground calibration.

Semiconductor high-energy radiation scintillation detector
We propose a new scintillation-type detector in which high-energy radiation generates electron–hole pairs in a direct-gap semiconductor material that subsequently recombine producing infrared light to be registered by a photo-detector. The key issue is how to make the semiconductor essentially transparent to its own infrared light, so that photons generated deep inside the semiconductor could r...
متن کاملMonte Carlo Studies on Proton Computed Tomography using a Silicon Strip Detector Telescope
Monte Carlo computer programs such as the GEANT4 toolkit include precise models of particle interactions and can be an invaluable tool for studying the feasibility of new imaging techniques such as proton computed tomography (pCT). Presented in this paper is a comparison of laboratory data with GEANT4 predictions for the imaging characteristics of a simple metal object using a particle beam and...
متن کاملInitial studies on proton computed tomography using a silicon strip detector telescope
We report initial results of a feasibility study of Proton Computed Tomography and Proton Transmission Radiography for applications in proton therapy treatment planning and patient positioning. The aim of the study is to explore experimentally if PCT, which is based on the measurement of the specific energy loss of protons traversing tissues of different density, may be preferred to X-ray Compu...
متن کاملVHEeP: A very high energy electron–proton collider based on proton-driven plasma wakefield acceleration
Based on current CERN infrastructure, an electron–proton collider is proposed at a centre-ofmass energy of about 9 TeV. A 7 TeV LHC bunch is used as the proton driver to create a plasma wakefield which then accelerates electrons to 3 TeV, these then colliding with the other 7 TeV LHC proton beam. The basic parameters of the collider are presented, which although of very high energy, has integra...
